Frequently Asked Questions

As we prepare for the opening of our 7th Season, we receive messages from hundreds of patrons asking for a lot of the same information. Here is a really quick F.A.Q., answering a lot of the basic questions that we get frequently:

Can I bring in outside food and drink?

No outside food or drink are allowed to come through the gates of the festival.

What about alcohol? I heard there is a Wine Garden.

No alcohol is allowed in the gate. Wine tasting and bottle sales are available by Valenzano Winery at our Mead Garden. Drinking of bottles is allowed ONLY at the Wine Garden and at the Duke's Feast.

Can I bring my pets?

No pets are allowed with the exception of service dogs.

Should I dress up in costume?

Costumes are encouraged; if you have a full face mask of any kind, you must show your face to an official at the gate before entry.

Can I wear a sword, bow, or any other weapons along with my costume?

All period costume weapons for costumes must be peace tied to remain in the sheathe. This can be done for you at the gate. Weapons which cannot be piece tied must be rendered completely non-dangerous as determined by NJRF Security. If your weapon is deemed unsafe or the peace tie removed, you will be removed from the grounds.

Can I smoke at the faire?

There is NO SMOKING permitted on the site.

Are there discounts available for tickets?

You can purchase discount tickets at participating Walgreens locations and AAA Mid-Atlantic. Flyers containing coupons are also available at Wawa. You can also visit our Facebook page for a discount code.

Is there a charge for Parking on site?

General parking is free. Limited VIP parking is available on a first come first served basis for $10 (unless you are a Friends of Crossford Guild Member). Campers and RVs have limited space and are not allowed overnight parking.

Is the Faire handicap accessible?

The majority of the campground is handicapped accessible, though it is hilly.
