Children ages 5 – 12 fall under our “Child Tickets” category.
Anyone under the age of 5 is free.
Anyone over the age of 12 is considered an adult. Discounts for middle school and high school students may be secured with a valid high school ID shown at the gate.
Yes, most of our shows are appropriate for families and all ages. Shows which are designated as “adult” will have an *asterisk* listed next to them on the show schedule to indicate adult content.
We have several marquees located throughout the festival grounds which have listings of showtimes and locations. There is also a convenient QR code that links to our digital program, listing our sponsors, descriptions of shows and vendors, and a map that gives locations of all stages. You’re also welcome to ask for directions from our cast or management staff.
All official cast members are designated by a chainmail butterfly pin on their person. Any of those people are official cast members of the New Jersey Renaissance Faire and represent the festival. They are the lifeblood of our show and take great pride in their excellent performances and acting skills. Check them out at our plot shows and on the grounds interacting with festival-goers throughout the day.
No outside food or drink are allowed to come through the gates of the festival.
We can accommodate most tastes at our festival and provide a number of options for food typical of what you might see at a baseball game or amusement park. If you have specific concerns about your or a loved one’s food allergies, please reach out to Admin@njrenfaire.com.
No alcohol is allowed in the gate. Wine tasting and beer sales are available in our Meade Garden.
Costumes are encouraged; however, if you have a full face mask of any kind, you must show your face to an official at the gate before entry.
All period costume weapons for costumes must be peace tied to remain in the sheathe. This can be done for you at the gate. Weapons which cannot be piece tied must be rendered completely non-dangerous as determined by NJRF Security. If your weapon is deemed unsafe or the peace tie removed, you will be removed from the grounds.
General parking is free. Limited VIP parking is available on a first come first served basis (unless you are a Friends of Crossford Guild Member). Campers and RVs have limited space and are not allowed overnight parking.
Yes, we have handicapped parking for anyone with a placard in their window.
The majority of the grounds are paved which makes mobility devices a little easier to use than some other festivals. However, we do have a number of hills on the grounds, which may make things difficult to traverse for a regular wheelchair or other wheeled devices.
We find that motorized mobility devices tend to be best for our site.
If you have any questions regarding your specific level of mobility, please contact Admin@njrenfaire.com for further information.
While there is NO SMOKING permitted on the site, designated smoking areas will be clearly labeled and given adequate distancing to comply with safety regulations
Yes, there will be Sign Language Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community on site to interpret our main shows on June 11, 2023. Click here for more information.
There is! Feel free to check out Nippers Nook, an area with the young and young-at-heart in mind. Kid-centric shows, crafts, and games will be featured in the area, as well as other surprises. This area is free to enter and is located just beyond the Duke’s Grove stage and the main lunch and kitchen area.
Per the State of NJ CDC, you can wear a mask based on your personal preference and your personal level of risk. Masks are currently not required.
